Only God can create! So, what is created? In this case, WHO is created when belief in Christ is truly professed? What did God do to us who believed?

I know what is in your mind. The same question was in the lips of a man who visited Jesus in the night some 2000 years ago.
John 3:4
Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”
Nicodemus saw that to be BORN AGAIN is impossible for any man to achieve. However…
Luke 18:27
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
So, how does one become BORN AGAIN?
John 3:5
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are BORN of water and the Spirit.
Say what???
John 3:6
Flesh gives birth to flesh (physical birth), but the (Holy) Spirit gives birth to spirit (spiritual life).
What exactly did God do?
Ephesians 1:13, 14
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
The placing of the Holy Spirit in us was always God’s plan for our salvation.
Galatians 3:14
He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
