My friends, this would make the third week into my first venture into the world of business. Now, I am not yet a credible company, per se or even yet a true retail store. You know… a store with a neat visible sign, large windows and shelves displaying my wares. A store where I can enjoy meeting with customers. This venture is quite new to me and I don’t mind saying that it is intimidating to me, but it is also exhilarating, to a point that my wife worries that I have taken on too much. I should be afraid, but the Holy Spirit in me has blessed me with a sober mind and a plan! I’ll write some more of that in my next post. Meanwhile, allow me to present my next set of prints for your consideration.

Leirdalen Bridge [TR-2022-1015] – This bridge was a bushcraft project of the local mountaineers and hikers who wanted a shortcut over the rushing stream of Leira near the town of Bøverkinnhalsen, Norway. What made this bridge interesting was that at first, she was built with nails, screws or even wooden pegs. She was held up mostly by the weight of the logs and gravity. These days, the bridge is now held up with what modern construction has to offer. There is even a modern bridge for vehicles adjacent to it. [Click here to see Google maps street view of Leirdalen Bridge.]
Mushroom Forest [SI-2020-1016] – When I first laid my eyes on this forest of mushrooms carpeting the floor of a moisture rich woodland, I was reminded of a Disney animation of mushrooms coming to life and dancing to, of all things, the Nutcracker.
Merchant Cart [SI-2020-1017] – I really loved sketching this cart. What else can I say?
Sibang Rock [FI-2020-1018] – My brother and his wife went to the northernmost islands of the Philippines, Batanes. They are so rocky that the locals built their homes with mostly stone including the roofs, hence the reason the islands were called the Ireland of the Philippine Sea. This dark pinnacle can be found protruding almost 3-storeys tall from the beach’s edge. Sibang is actually the cove it was on.
